We offer consulting and training services to schools, churches, and companies on the selection and use of all kinds of technology resources. Please contact us to discuss how we can help meet your specific educational technology needs at a price that you will find to be VERY competitive with other vendors. As true educators at heart, we do not do this with the idea of becoming wealthy, but instead we hope that we can help teachers and administrators see the benefits that technology can bring to their schools. Our background in educational technology: We have extensive experience in successfully implementing technology to enhance teaching and learning at all levels. Also, we have worked with many educators, from elementary to higher education, to develop educational technology skills. In addition to a Master's in Educational Technology, Mark is finishing a Ph.D. in Educational Technology. He works full time as an instructional designer at Oklahoma State University. In this position, he works with faculty on a daily basis on how to enhance their instruction with technology resources. His dissertation research is focusing on the use of student response systems to facilitate active learning in large classrooms. Mark also adjunct teaches educational technology courses for OSU's College of Education. Before working in this position, Mark was the Assessment Specialist with OSU's Professional Education Unit, where he advised faculty on program assessment strategies. He also developed the databases that serve as the core of the PEU's Assessment System. This system assisted in the successful reaccreditation by NCATE in April, 2006. Before coming to OSU, he was the Technology Director/Distance Learning Coordinator for Heavener Public Schools. Among MANY educational technology duties was working with teachers from Pre-K to High School on effectively implementing classroom technology. Mark entered this position by a proven record of implementing a wide range of technologies in his high school science courses, and demonstrating a will and desire to help other teachers to do the same. Toni is an elementary music teacher for Stillwater Public Schools. Formerly, she taught Family Consumer Sciences courses for middle to high school students at Panama Public Schools. Toni uses many forms of technology in her classroom on a daily basis. Our introduction to educational technology came through the HB 1815 Lead Teacher Technology Trainings, which we both became Master Trainers for. Unfortunately, this program lost funding in 2003. Our goal is to continue the kind of technology training that this program provided to schools, as well as to introduce teachers to the latest advances in technology resources for the classroom. |
